The 7th Grade Ancient History class has been studying ancient weaponry. Over the past couple of days the class has been building catapults. The team of GraceLynn, Veronica, and and Owen won the overall distance challenge!

On Nov. 8, 2024, JLHS Writers’ Club members met local wordsmith, Kristy Burmeister. Ms. Burmeister shared her writing journey and experiences as a memoirist, poet, editor, and publisher. Lewiston kindergarten had a rockin' time celebrating the 50th day of school today!
Students wrote their names 50 times, wrote about what they would buy with $50, did a hunt around the classroom for 50 words, and worked in small groups to see what they could build with 50 blocks! They ended their day with root beer floats and a sock hop! 🎶🥤
