Due to the impending storm and the safety of our students and families, JLAS will be cancelling all after school activities today. The Joburg Elem. Program is rescheduled for 12/16 @6:30pm. Cardinal Club will remain open, but please pick up as early as possible. Community Fitness hours tonight are cancelled. Be Safe!

For Holidays around the World today, Lewiston kindergarteners learned about France! They made Yule Logs and even got to try one! 🌍

Johannesburg-Lewiston Middle School eighth graders went to The Medilodge and The Brook today to decorate, hang stockings, and carol. It was a great day, and the kids did a lovely job spreading that Christmas Joy 💚❤️🎄

The Lewiston Elementary Christmas Program will be on Tuesday, December 17th @ 6:30, doors open at 6:15pm.


Incredible performances by the 6th-12th grade bands tonight. Thank you students, families, and Mr. Hintermeister for sharing and celebrating the hard work everyone put in to make this concert happen. If you couldn't make it tonight, watch for our Spring concert performance!

The Band Concert will take place @ 7pm tonight. Concert parking will be at the back of the building by the auditorium. Athletic practices may be held until 6pm, but park in the front so plowing can continue in the back. Fitness Center will be open for community hours, but not the track due to the concert.


Due to weather conditions and several roads in the district not safe for students and staff, Johannesburg-Lewiston Area Schools will be closed today, 12/5. Our second snow day this year. Stay safe, play outside, and help others. A decision will be made regarding tonight's band concert later this afternoon.
