I am writing to formally announce that I will be retiring at the end of this school year. It has been a true honor to serve this incredible Cardinal family. I am grateful for your trust, support, and partnership over the years. Together, we have made a lasting difference in the lives of our students, and I will always cherish that.
I am also pleased to share that Mr. Dan Serba will be filling the K-8 Principal role. I have full confidence in his leadership and know he will continue to support our students, staff, and families with care and dedication.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of this special community. Johannesburg-Lewiston Area Schools will always hold a place in my heart.

Our 2nd graders at Lewiston Elementary loved having Mrs. Hansen visit and read to them for March is Reading Month! It was such a special time, and the students truly enjoyed every moment.

Organized by Reese Bober, Cardinal Club students drew pictures of their own, unique characters. Next, Writers' Club members created stories to accompany the younger students' artistic creations. Last week, the JLHS Writers' Club & the JEMS Cardinal Club students joined to share their connected creativity: reading stories, sharing pictures, and celebrating with cookies!
