Lewiston 4th graders were hard at work last week learning about how muscles, bones, and tendons work together to move their bodies. They enjoyed building robot hands and experimenting with them. We ❤️ Mystery Science!
Middle school students celebrated Constituion Day today by completing a word search to find the 55 gentlemen who signed the constitution on September 17, 1787.
Last week I was able to attend some learning with Ms. Sehl's second grade! Her caterpillars are getting ready to become butterflies and the presentation from Raven Hill provided students with some fantastic hands on science experiences!
Today in Kindergarten, Lewiston students honored Patriot Day with special activities and discussions. We read the story Fireboat which helped us learn about bravery and teamwork. We also talked about heroes - both the everyday heroes in our community and the heroes remembered on this day. To finish, each student made a hero heart to show gratitude and love for the people who help keep us safe everyday.
It was a meaningful way for us to learn about kindness, courage, and remembering the importance of helping others. 💙♥️

Back-to-school STEM challenge. Lots of problem-solving. It wasn't as easy as it looked!
7th graders learned how archeologists find artifacts as they study ancient history. They got to eat their excavation site (chocolate chip cookie) when they were finished. 🍪
