The boys won the meet, helped by wins in the pole vault, 800, mile and 2 mile, as well as the 4x4 and 4x8 relays.
Blake Fox won the 800, Malaki Gascho the mile, Jeremiah Witt the 2 mile, and those boys plus Dusty Layman won both the 4x400 and 4x800.
The cardinals scored points in almost every event to put together their first team win of the season.
The girls were led off by a 55 foot throw and fifth place finish from Hannah Pewinski in the discus.
Brooklyn Latuszek followed her up with a win in the 100. Yolanda Gascho took second in the 200 and Harlie Fox snuck past a friend from I Lakes to win the 400. Madalyn Agren won the mile over her future teammate (Oakland University) Miriam Murrell from Gaylord St Mary’s, while Allie Nowak won the 2 mile and broke her own school record in the 800.
Madlayn Agren, Dani Agren, Harlie Fox, and Allie Nowak cruised to a win in the 4x8 to start the meet then Madalyn, Harlie, Allie, and Yolanda Gascho finished off the meet by winning the 4x4.
