D.C. IN 2019
The itinerary has arrived and we have selected our travel agency for the High School Band, June 2019 trip to Washington D.C. The trip will include tours and time at monuments (Vietnam Wall, WW2, Korean, Lincoln, Washington) and museums as well as visiting Arlington Cemetery/Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, 2-3 live performances, cruise on Potomac River, and great food and accommodations. Approximately 15 adult chaperones will be needed to make this trip a success. Please consider traveling with us, it truly is an excellent trip for all!!
A short informational meeting for this trip will be held immediately after the concert on May 16. Future fundraising opportunities, how to become a chaperone, and payment plan (starting in the fall) will be discussed.
The boosters will sponsor a HUGE GARAGE SALE (May 26) and CAR WASH opportunities (throughout the summer months) for students and chaperones to raise money for this trip. Information and sign-up sheets were given to students before Spring break. If you still wish to participate in the garage sale or car washes and DID NOT turn the sign-up sheet in yet...GET IT TURNED IN!!!!!
Monetary donations and donations of quality used instruments are
always greatly appreciated and needed.
